About

I live in Melbourne, I’m a woman, and I’m now ticking the 35-44 box. I’m certainly no genius; i just liked the way the words sounded together. I don’t enjoy queuing for breakfast, have too many indoor plants and was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2014.

I have always written; not daily, but often. I wrote about love, life, dating disasters and foot fetishes (other people’s). Writing about breast cancer did not come easily, but it’s time I unpacked this story which often feels as though it belongs to somebody else. Before I was diagnosed I planned to tidy up all of my stories and send them out to the universe. I imagined that this way I could shelve a big chunk of my life and move on from my past. Things don’t always work out the way we plan and now, more than I ever, I need to continue writing this story.
